Bring your team into the stunning forests of the Pacific Northwest and witness transformation

We live in a loud, fast-moving world.  Demands are placed on each of us everyday. Give your team the opportunity to slow down, replenish, and focus on connection.

What to expect:

  • Explore: Through a series of creative invitations facilitated by your guide, your team will explore the selected natural area with care and appreciation.  Each invitation will connect you with your colleagues and with nature.

  • Communicate: After each invitation we’ll engage in a round of sharing that encourages communication, conversation, and collaboration.

  • Calm: Time spent in nature will reduce stress and provide a relaxing experience. Tea is served at the end of each Nature Immersion.  The handcrafted tea is created using plants that have been sustainably harvested throughout the Pacific Northwest.

What is Nature Immersion?

Nature Immersion is inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku.  It is a guided experience that allows you to slow down while connecting with the natural world, your team, and with yourself.

During a Nature Immersion experience you’ll be guided by Julie Jansen, a certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.  Julie will offer a series of accessible, mindful invitations to explore your chosen environment with care and appreciation.  Each invitation is crafted to connect you with your team, and to connect your senses to the natural world.  After each invitation there will be a round of sharing with your colleagues to open communication and dialog.

Nature Immersion is balanced between exploring nature and being in community with your team.  A Nature Immersion experience lasts around two hours, which is the amount of time needed to receive the research-based health benefits

During each part of the experience you are encouraged to discover what the natural world has to offer you in the moment.

Allow nature to inspire new ways of thinking and collaborating together.
