Yoga + Forest Bathing Nature Immersion
Join Kris Olson and Julie Jansen for an immersion in the natural world to celebrate the Fall Equinox!
Take time to connect with your senses, soak in the last day of Summer, and greet the Fall season with yoga and forest bathing practices. This offering will invite us into our senses, unwind our bodies, and nourish our whole selves.
Kris will get us started by leading us in an outdoor yoga practice to allow us to connect with our bodies. This gentle and generous practice will join our group together as we move under sky and trees.
Then, allow your senses to open as Julie guides us in a forest bathing walk. Forest bathing allows us to slow down while connecting with our senses, with community, and with ourselves. Spend time with the plants and animals at Hoyt Arboretum as we listen to how the natural world transitions from Summer to Autumn.
To end the experience Kris will guide us in meditation and movement along with sharing a few of her favorite poems. Then, enjoy delicious snacks and forest tea made with plants that Julie has sustainable foraged from natural places throughout Oregon.
